chemical change

Today we had a great experience doing chemical change with Mr Naidoo and we were learning about the reaction of different liquids and solids  . We did a volcano that exploded on the volcano. And also we firstly describe how a chemical change can take place and that chemical change is irreversible. So firstly Mr Naidoo put the water in the volcano then he put some vinegar, dishwashing liquid, food colouring and baking soda and then the volcano exploded.  And I also liked the part when the volcano exploded.

  1. Hi Papiloti!

My name is Nicky and I am one of the bloggers here at the Summer Learning Journey. I hope you have had a great Christmas and New Year break with family and friends and have been enjoying your holidays! What have you been doing?

How cool that you learned about chemical change by making volcano's! I remember making volcano when I was at school, it's cool that you can use some simple ingredients and then see it erupt!
